The objective of this project is, in addition to developing a new health-oriented ingredient, to position our FOS in comparison with various prebiotics on the market and even to identify differentiated beneficial effects beyond those already known. The presence of sorbitol in our product (a marker of its fruit origin) could influence its action within the body.
